Description

Research questions which emerge are the following 1. Does PGD/PGS induce more congenital malformations and inborn pathologies in comparison to ICSI and to the general population? 2. Does PGD/PGS induce growth restriction prenatal and/or postnatal? Is there a difference within the PGD/PGS group comparing growth parameters after the removing of one versus two blastomeres? 3. Does PGD/PGS induce alterations in psychomotor, mental, psychosocial and language development of children? 4. Does the different medical and family backgrounds in PGD and PGS families influence parental well-being and parent-child relationship? Objectives 1. to assess whether PGD/PGS is associated with significant health, growth, mental and psychomotor outcomes in early childhood. 2. to evaluate parental well-being and the parent-child relationship after PGD and PGS conception.
