Description

Over the last few years an increasing number of Electric Vehicle (EV) projects, involving the deployment of the electric vehicles and their infrastructure, have been initiated. Most of the projects include some form of data collection, and results are disseminated to selected groups. In December 2012 the European Electro-mobility Observatory (EEO) has been set up to become the central reference point for electro-mobility in Europe, evaluating and disseminating data and bringing together experiences from all relevant electro-mobility projects and programs across Europe. The EEO conducted an EU-wide monitoring framework of EV data and organized a number of workshops to support fact based policy making at EU, national and local level.
