Expertise

Nicolas is a PhD student at the MOBI research centre, supervised by Prof. Dr. Cathy Macharis. His project focuses on Sustainable Logistics, concentrating on urban construction logistics. During his Bachelor in Communication, Nicolas interned at telco Proximus (Brussels), data visualisation start-up Cumul.io (Leuven) and route optimisation start-up Badger Maps (San Francisco, CA). Combining a position at Universal Pictures (Brussels), he then acquired the degree of Master of Science in Business Management at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His dissertation focused on the impact of Mobile Service Provider data on Road Freight Transport-related External Costs in the Brussels Metropolitan Region.
